SAHMRI. Inspired research, better health for all.

Seeking volunteers for dietary studies

At SAHMRI, we are interested in finding out how changing WHEN you eat can improve health. We are taking expressions of interest from healthy men and women for several studies commencing later in the year.

This study will be conducted in Adelaide and Melbourne and will recruit people with overweight or obesity to compare the effects of time restricted eating versus current practice guidelines in dietetics over 12 months (3 visits plus 5 dietetic consults).

This study will test the effects of an evening protein preload meal to improve glucose control in female night shift workers over 6 weeks (4 visits to SAHMRI)

You may be eligible to take part if you are:

  • Aged 35-75 years
  • Overweight or obese
  • Without diabetes and healthy
  • Have a waist circumference > 88 cm for women, or 102 cm for men

To register your interest, please send us an email at dietstudy@adelaide.edu.au
