In May 2021, subscribers to our Community Interest Register (CIR), along with
researchers who had engaged with the Register, were surveyed to learn more about their experiences using
and being part of the register.
You can download the survey results via the tab on this page.
What is the Community Interest Register?
The CIR is a initiative of SAHMRI and Health Translation SA that provides members of the public wiht an opportunity to be involved with our medical research programs, working towards better health outcomes for the broader community. The goal is to ensure our research:
- Reflects issues that are important to our community
- Can more easily be translated into clinical practice, policy and education
- Reaches those who need it the most
